Guest Check-in
Check-in will begin at 3pm. This ensures adequate time for housekeeping to clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas. Please call the front desk if you will be arriving after 8:00pm, to make arrangements for key pick-up.
Guest Check-out
Check-out is 11am. This ensures adequate time for housekeeping to clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas. Guests must be checked out with all personal possessions by 11:00am on their scheduled check-out date. If a guest has not paid to extend his/her reservation or completely vacated the property by 11:00am his/her card on file will be charged for another night's stay.
Early Check-in and Late Check-out
Early Check-in and Late Check-out are subject to availability and will incur an additional $25 charge for each.
Touchless Payments
Your credit card on file will be charged the remaining balance of your reservation on the day of arrival. If you prefer to use a different credit card for this payment, please let us know.
Non-Smoking Facility
The Arnold Meadowmont Lodge is a completely non-smoking facility. There is NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND allowed in or near ANY rooms or on property. If a guest smokes, he/she must smoke outside near street, far away from ANY guest rooms' doors and windows and public areas. As we are located in the heart of the Stanislaus National Forest, please dispose of cigarettes properly. DO NOT THROW YOUR CIGARETTES AWAY IN THE GUEST ROOMS' TRASH CANS. A $(888) 538-1222 Cleaning Charge will be imposed if there is smoking or smoking related damages in the guest rooms.
Pets
Dogs are welcome subject to availability of select designated rooms. NOT EVERY ROOM ALLOWS PETS. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CATS. Please contact motel in advance to verify availability of a pet room. An additional charge of $30 per night per pet will be added to your bill. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. Pets are not to be left unattended in guest rooms for ANY length of time, for ANY reason [this also applies to pets being left alone in the guest rooms while inside their crates/kennels/cages/etc.] When pets are outside the guest rooms they MUST be with their owner and on a leash at all times. An additional $(888) 538-1222 charge will be imposed if guest does not disclose their pet, or if a pet causes damage to the guest room/motel property. Up to 2 pets per room, (maximum weight of 75 lbs.)
Damages
NO COOKING APPLIANCES OR CANDLES/OPEN FLAME ALLOWED IN ROOMS. If any damages or theft occur to guest rooms or property, additional charges will be imposed to cover the cost of those damages, and/or to cover the cost of additional housekeeping services. Fees will range from $50 and up.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is taken at the time of booking. Payment must be made by credit card.
Maximum Occupancies
Rooms are configured for one to four guests. Rates are double-occupancy. (additional $10 per person per night). "Guests" are considered "occupants," regardless of age. Ages 2 and older pay extra person fee.
CANCELLATIONS
CANCELLATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED VIA EMAIL OR TEXT. Please call us directly. We require a two day notice for cancellation*. Cancellations must be made before 3pm two days prior to the arrival date. If the cancellation is made with less than two days notice, then the full room rate for all nights booked will be charged.
Prior to two days notice, cancellations will be accepted with a $35.00 processing fee per room.
Reservations made through a booking engine (i.e. booking.com, expedia.com, hotels.com) have stricter change and cancellation policies. ALL CHANGES MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE BOOKING ENGINE.
Departures before the scheduled departure date will constitute a cancellation, and monies will not be refundable.
*A MINIMUM SEVEN DAY CANCELLATION NOTICE IS REQUIRED FOR HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IRONSTONE CONCERTS). GROUPS HAVE A 30 DAY CANCEL POLICY.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.
Group Bookings
Groups are defined as three or more rooms traveling together (even when paid separately). Payment in full is due at the time of booking. There are no refunds or changes/rescheduling allowed for group cancellations. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY.
Return Item Policy
Guest items left in the room/on the property will be returned only upon guests' request and at guests' expense. Appropriate shipping and handling costs will be charged to guest's credit card on file.
Privacy
The motel, grounds, and amenities are open to registered guests ONLY, unless arrangements have been made with the owners. Loitering is not allowed. Any violations to this policy will be reported to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office immediately.
